To be seen.
At goyoki, we create sculptural bags that redefine fashion through innovation and form. Our bags are designed and produced in Canada, 3D-printed using biobased filaments coupled with artisinal craftsmanship; embracing a future where fashion and responsibility coexist.
goyoki is grounded in the belief that fashion can carry meaning. Founded by a Persian woman, the fight for gender equality and freedom is deeply personal. Now more than ever, taking up space is not just a preference, it’s a necessity.
goyoki bags are not the average accessory; they are designed to make heads turn, just like you.
The Process.
Our design process begins with a simple sketch. We experiment with ideas, forms, and overall appearance, centering it around ultimate uniqueness. From there, we begin modeling the bags in 3D in our design software, going through many rounds of iteration before achieving the finalized form.
Once our digital mesh is complete, we begin the 3D printing process. We adjust the settings to ensure durability and smoothness for the final print, and use tough PLA (polylactic acid, a plastic derived from plant starch) filament. Since this is a highly sensitive process, it is common to have misprints or errors throughout the printing stage; about one in every ten bags needs to be redone. Once started, it takes roughly 14 hours for a single bag to be 3D printed.
Finally, we move into the post-processing and assembly phase. The bag is smoothed & sanded down where necessary, and the surface is wiped in a clean environment. We then apply a satin coating to protect the PLA shell. Once dry, we add our chain handle and leather insert pouch (crafted in collaboration with Wearshop Montreal).
You're the reason this isn't just a moodboard.
At Goyoki, we want you to love us as much as we love you. As a start-up brand, we truly appreciate your support and feedback. Please reach out to us with any questions or concerns (or compliments - we'll take them).
